Camping Check List for 2
Here is a list that I used for planning
wilderness camping trips. It is for 2 campers and is
broken up into sections. After many items, click on "more
info" for more specific info and comments:

- 2 durable paddles
- Portage Pads (See my great home-made
ones!)
- Compass
- Lake Maps (A must in wilderness
area!)
- Life Jackets
- Canoe Anchor - a replacement landing net
tied off to hold a rock works well
Clothing (Per Person) This is For Summer
- One set of clothes (in
addition to what you're wearing)
- Hooded sweatshirt packed in
plastic bag
- Windbreaker type jacket
(summer)
- Good hooded rain suit
- Shorts
- Extra pair of socks
- Cap to block sun
- Gloves (camping is hard
on your hands!)
- Bath towel
- Pack All Clothes in
Waterproof Bags!
Fishing Gear
- 2 rods & reels + 1 spare
reel
- Tackle & Box
- Fish Stringers
- Pliers

to dig worms

- Food packed in box - more

- A full roll of paper towel,
sealed in a bag
- Dish soap in small bottle
- Scrubber pad
- Bug Repellent (Strong for
adults and some milder for kids)
- First Aid Kit
- Small Tube of Hand Lotion
- Bath Kit - Toothbrush,
shampoo, etc
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
