Canoe camping is becoming increasingly popular. Here are just a few of the many reasons why:

• Canoe camping offers the ability to truly experience wilderness camping in wilderness areas and rivers and streams.
   
• Canoe-only areas are free of the non-stop buzz of motorboats. (I'm not anti-motor boat, I just think it's nice to have peace and quiet)
   
• Canoe camping is economical compared to camping from RV's and/or using expensive motor boats! I first obtained/made equipment for wilderness camping as a student in college.
   
• Ever paddle in front of a swimming moose like my wife and I did in one trip we took?  If you ever have had the opportunity to wilderness camp, you can come with perhaps a hundred more reasons for the increasing popularity of canoe camping!
