Here's the musky lure that the big muskie took a bite out
of. It's called a Mudpuppy and it was one of the
first topwater musky baits with a rear spinning tail.
It is designed so that the hook comes off, making it more
difficult for the musky to shake the lure off. This
assumes that you set the hook in the first place,
something I was too dumbfounded to do! Sorry - no musky
picture here with this story either!
